Family United Against Crime

The Batman Family is a group of superheroes who fight crime in Gotham City, with all its members having been directly trained by Bruce Wayne, better known as Batman. The most prominent members have deeply intertwined history with the Dark Knight and are considered much more than just a group of vigilantes, they are a true family.

The origins and recruitment of these heroes often created instant connections. Dick Grayson, Nightwing, became the first Robin after Bruce witnessed the death of Dick's parents at the circus, creating a direct link to the traumatic event Batman himself experienced as a child. Damian Wayne is Bruce and Talia’s biological son. The third Robin, Tim Drake, secretly followed Batman’s adventures with his predecessors until the opportunity to join presented itself. Batgirl, on the other hand, is the daughter of Commissioner Gordon, one of the Dark Knight’s greatest allies, which also forms a direct connection to Batman’s world.
